Start studying the vocabulario from today's lesson - pgs 18-19.

How do I study the vocabulario?

You must study "actively"!. Here are some ideas!

1) Take a piece of paper and write out the Spanish word and English word and repeat them as you write.

2) Quizlet - Type out the words and say them as you write!

Be careful not to review the words too passively!

3) Flashcards - Write and say the Spanish word on one side and the english word/ definition on the other side.

4) Study with a friend - Take your flash cards and ask a friend to quiz you!

Level one: You listen to the words in English you say the word in Spanish.

Level two: You listen to definitions of the words in Spanish and you say the word in Spanish.

Level three: You hear the word in Spanish and then you give a definition of each word.

Studying is NOT "a one and done" kind of event.

Studying requires REPETITION. Our brains need that repetition to store the information in longterm memory.

You must write and say the words. This multi-sensory approach also helps our brains.
