Instructions

1. Last Wednesday we watched, Danger of a Single Story Ted Talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. You took notes on p. 9 and 10 in your reader.

2. You then created a Found Poem last Thursday that highlighted Philip Curtin's main argument that he put forth in the reading, Emergence of African History (p.17 and 18). The Found Poem answered the question, Why does it matter what stories we tell about the past, and how we tell them?

3. Today you will write a 8-10 sentence response that explains how the TED talk, Danger of a Single Story and the concepts presented in your Found Poem connect to each other.
