Conceptual Biological Chemistry

Expectations

Punctual, well prepared, an active listener and ready to have fun & be challenged!

 

Course Guiding Questions & Content (*subject to change based on schedule this year*)

 “How and why do organisms interact with their environment, and what are the effects of these interactions?” 

Unit 1:  Ecology

Unit 2:  Photosynthesis

 

 “How are characteristics of one generation passed to the next? How can individuals of the same species and even siblings have different characteristics?”

Unit 3:  Meiosis and Genetics

 

Required Materials

Below are the materials you are expected to have everyday for class, whether in person OR online:

  • A fully charged laptop AND earphones
  • Three Ring Binder (½ binder works!) and loose leaf paper
  • Pencils and/or pens

 

Remote Learning

Grading

Grades for each semester will be based on homework, assessments, activities, formal lab reports, projects and citizenship.

 

Questions or need Clarification on Material

We are more than happy to work with you before school, or after school.  Your classmates are also good resources.  Reminder: copying or pooling answers is cheating.
