UNIT 1 OVERVIEW

PERFORMANCE INDICATOR:  I can exchange introductory information with others.

    • I can exchange introductory information with others.
    • I can describe myself and others.
    • I can describe my typical school day.
    • I can ask and answer questions about what people do in their free time. 

3 Major Assessments in Unit 1:

    • Listening
      • Listen to a video of someone introducing themselves and answer the questions.
    • Reading
      • Read an ID card of a person from a Spanish speaking country and answer the questions.
    • Speaking
      • “It’s the first day of a language class and your teacher assigned you to sit next to someone you don’t know.” Have a conversation with your partner to find out some personal information about them (name, age, where they’re from, contact info, social media info).
