Course Syllabus

Welcome to Skills English!

In this course students will be working on building their strengths in both academic and real-world reading and writing skills. Our overarching goal is to help students build confidence and independence. This includes but is not limited to:

• Reading for information (flyers, publications, schedules, etc.)
• Reading for pleasure (novels, magazines, etc.)
• Academic, personal, and professional writing

Class grades are determined by:

Class participation

Assignment completion
