Intro To Fitness

The main purpose of this course is to train all incoming freshman and new students on how to safely use the exercise equipment in the Fitness Center. Successful completion of certification will allow students access to the fitness center during and after school. Principles of strength training, elements of cardiovascular health, basic anatomy and physiology, sports injury prevention, and the elements of a personal fitness plan are topics covered during the course.
